P L A C E

hi there. i’ve moved on to do something quite different. Its a work that is still on going in the east of Singapore. basically involves 150 pinhole cameras made of cardboard that the audience can take with them to photograph anything and post it back to the address of the gallery. i then develop them and put them back online and at the gallery space.

Its a small show that my friends and I put up and it was an amazing experience working with them. Eventually photos of the work should be up:)

PLACE exhibition runs till 31st July 2011, everyday 12-8pm at 16 Marshall Road in Katong.

I prefer:

1. photographs that are full length body shots
2. you not wearing anything overly outrageous
   [cos its hard to place you in contexts if you are wearing a ski mask or a wedding dress]
3. clear photographs where I can easily isolate you from your original place :)

I do not like:

1. photographs that are too poor in quality such as resolution 
   [cos you will look like an alien trying to materialise on earth, and we don’t want that do we?]

no:

1. rude and demeaning or offensive or suggestive photographs

ALSO,  I will try my very best to use your photo, but I will prioritise those that are easier to fit in and those of people who are outside of London. for more information about what I propose to do, read the other small print. 

the other small print (how this works)

If you are not in London and would like to be brought about London, I will gladly bring you around with me and photograph you in a place in London. 

I will need a photograph from you (please read for submitting details)

and I will print your photograph out, and carry the cut-out of you with me till I find a suitable place in London I think you might like. It will look something like this.

I will try to find you a place from now up till late june where I will be in another city.
